Wow, who would have thought we would be seeing Brazil facing off against the USA in the Confederations Cup Final? Proves again why soccer is the greatest sport on the planet!

All credit to the USA, they were savaged by the press and fans on twitter for their first two performances, yet they pulled off one of the greatest upsets we’ve seen by advancing to the semi finals. Then to trump that they go and beat the current world record holders and European Champions Spain….incredible!

Brazil on the other hand look like to well oiled machine we expect. Nothing seems to phase them and they have pretty much strolled into the final. Of course South Africa gave them a run for their money, but they did what they had to do to win and that is a sign of a good team.

So, who’s going to win on Sunday? Brazil are the favorites of course, but what an opportunity for the USA. They have no pressure on them, the tournament has already been a massive shot in the arm for them. They can go into the game knowing all the expectation is on Brazil. They can work hard, close down the space, frustrate the Brazilians, kick a few of them, defend like they did against Spain and who knows?

It’s going to be a fantastic encounter and I will be recording it and analysing it as soon as I can.
