Now that the European Leagues are having their break, the agents, managers and press are all busy working away to keep us all interested in what is going on with our respective favorite teams.

Blackburn Rovers are supposedly selling Roque Santa Cruz to Manchester City and Matty Derbyshire to Olympiakos. That should net the club over $30 million to spend on strengthening the squad. Hopefully Sam Allardyce will prove again what a canny operator he is in the transfer market.

The Cristiano Ronaldo saga will continue to dominate the headlines closely followed by Tevez. Sir Alex will have two massive holes to fill, but he’s been there and done that many times in the past, so let’s see what he comes up with this time around.

I have been busy recruiting new players for my college team. I have recruited 16 new players already and still have 4-5 more to add to the roster. These new players should considerably strengthen the team and we are all very excited and looking forward to reporting for pre season training on the 25th August.

So, as the Summer progresses all of us are working to strengthen our rosters, from the college level right through to the top clubs in the world.
