OK so the World Cup is really getting going now….thankfully!

Argentina look awesome, I just have a funny feeling about them with the crazy man Maradona in charge and Messi, Tevez, Miilito and hat trick hero Higuain on their team.

Mexico caused somewhat of an upset by beating France. Why on earth when you are down would you keep Henry and Cisse on the bench? Last season when we were1-0 down in the play offs, we took off a defender and put on an extra forward and went 3-4-3. That didn’t work so we took another defender off and went 2-4-4…yes 2-4-4 and we tied the game up forcing overtime…big risk but you might as well get beat 2-0 and having gone for it than sitting back on not taking any risks.

Good turn around from Greece coming back from 1-0 down to win 2-1. I didn’t see that game, so leave a comment with anything interesting that you observed.

So, tomorrow England face Algeria and of course it is a must win match. Ironically England tends to do better when they are the underdogs as opposed to the favorite..much less pressure on them. So it is down to them to step up and win this game convnicingly.

USA plays Slovenia and there has been some trash talk from the Slovenian camp…let’s see if they can follow through.
