Good Result for Blackburn Rovers

Wow, what a relief, but boy is it getting tight down in the lower half of the Premier League!

I find it fascinating watching the big guns fighting for their very lives in the Premiership and I am crossing my fingers and toes that Blackburn survive.

I also take solace in the performances from these teams as well as seeing even quality teams make mistakes.

Aston Villa up 2-0 with 10 minutes to go and a team and a coach of that quality can’t hold on and take all three points…how many times has that happened to your team and as a coach on the sidelines and you cannot believe that your team has blown it. Imagine how Martin O’Neill must feel, he’s won two European Cups as a player, a bunch of trophies as a coach at Celtic and here he is watching his team throw away 2 points.

Sometimes I think I am too tough on my players, yet here is a very good team full of international players and they cannot kill off a game at 2-0. So, maybe I should take a breath, realise that my players are only college players and cut them some slack…..or I can work even harder with them, pass on as much as I can to them and help them get better each game…What do you think???
